  • learn how to work with natural earth & plasters

  • sculptural adobe relief plasters

  • learn plaster ratios and application techniques

  • make fine finish plasters with kaolin clay and silica sands

Instructors: Kaki & Doni

Kaki Hunter and Doni Kiffmeyer have been messing about with dirt since 1995. They co-authored the book EARTHBAG BUILDING The Tools, Tricks and Techniques. They especially enjoy mucking about with earthen plasters, adobe, earthen floors, cob, light-clay-straw, wattle & daub and well, anything related to dirt. They have traveled the world far and wide sharing their skills while learning from others in places like the Bahamas, Belize, Jamaica, Canada, Washington DC, NY and throughout the southwest USA. We love being in nature, building fun stuff, growing and eating great food, creating and producing original theatre.
