Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, students will train in an environment that inspires mindfulness, creativity, and physical expression. COMMUNITY DROP-IN CLASS
On Saturday, June 27 at 11:00 AM, Mestre Jamaika and Salt Lake Capoeira will offer a drop-in community capoeira class. Whether you are drawn to dance, martial arts, fitness, or cultural exploration, this immersive experience will leave you energized and with a newfound appreciation for diverse movement traditions.
INSTRUCTOR
Mestre Jamaika (Mauro Romualdo) is an internationally recognized capoeira master with over 30 years of experience engaging students and audiences worldwide. Born in Bahia, the birthplace of capoeira and his Afro-Brazilian ancestral land, he is passionate about honoring his heritage by sharing this powerful art form and strengthening communities through movement and music.
